| MYCELX Technologies Corporation (MYCELX) employs the MYCELX molecule, a patented polymeric surfactant technology that is used to infuse most MYCELX products. MYCELX gets its name from the term micelle, a chemical reference for spherical molecular structures that form in water and are extremely hydrophobic. The MYCELX molecule instantly bonds to hydrocarbons to make them hydrophobic and viscoelastic, thus removing them permanently from gas, water and vapor streams. MYCELX removes many harmful contaminants and major pollutants down to the parts per million (ppm) or parts per billion (ppb) range. The single pass efficiency through a MYCELX filter cartridge or media is typically 99.9% with almost no (apx. 0.5 psi) pressure drop all the way to saturation. |
